1. Introduction
These Affiliate Program Terms (“Affiliate Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, “the Affiliate”) and Red Bag Productions (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Company”), governing your participation in the Red Bag Productions Affiliate Program (“the Program”).
The Program allows approved participants to earn commissions by referring new customers to Red Bag Productions products and services, including premium membership websites, eBook stores, and digital software products. By applying to or participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these Affiliate Terms in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update or modify these Affiliate Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email to the address associated with your affiliate account or posted on this page. Your continued participation in the Program after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Eligibility and Enrolment
2.1 Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to participate in the Program, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater.
- Own or operate a website, blog, social media account, email list, or other digital platform through which you intend to promote our products.
- Have a valid PayPal account capable of receiving payments in your country of residence.
- Not reside in or operate from a country subject to comprehensive trade sanctions or embargoes.
- Not have been previously terminated from the Program for breach of these Affiliate Terms.
2.2 Application Process
To join the Program, you must submit an application through our affiliate portal. Applications require your full name, email address, website or platform URL, a description of your promotional methods, and your PayPal email address for commission payments. We review all applications and reserve the right to approve or reject any application at our sole discretion without providing a reason.
2.3 Approval
Applications are typically reviewed within one (1) business day, during the approval process you are able to begin promoting the programs affiliate offers. Upon approval, your account will be activated for payments and you will receive a confirmation email that your account is live and able to accept affiliate commission payments. Account approval may be revoked at any time if we later determine that you do not meet the eligibility requirements or have provided false information in your application.
2.4 One Account Per Affiliate
Each individual or entity may maintain only one affiliate account. Creating multiple accounts to exploit the Program, manipulate commissions, or circumvent these Affiliate Terms may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of all accrued commissions. If you require additional affiliate accounts, please contact our support team to arrange this.
Acceptance into the Program does not guarantee that your promotional activities will generate commissions. Earnings depend on the quality and reach of your promotional efforts and the purchasing decisions of your referred visitors.
3. Affiliate Links and Tracking
3.1 Referral Links
Upon approval, you will be provided with unique referral links (“Affiliate Links”) that contain your affiliate tracking ID. You must use these Affiliate Links for all promotional activities to ensure that referrals are properly attributed to your account. We are not responsible for tracking or crediting referrals made through links that do not contain your valid affiliate ID.
3.2 Cookie Duration
When a visitor clicks your Affiliate Link, a tracking cookie is placed on their device. The cookie has a duration of ninety (90) days from the date of the initial click. If the visitor makes a qualifying purchase within this 90-day window, the sale will be attributed to you and a commission will be earned. If the visitor clears their cookies, uses a different device, or the cookie expires before a purchase is made, the referral will not be tracked.
3.3 Last-Click Attribution
We operate a last-click attribution model. This means that if a visitor clicks multiple Affiliate Links from different affiliates before making a purchase, the commission is awarded to the affiliate whose link was clicked most recently before the transaction was completed.
3.4 Tracking Accuracy
While we make every reasonable effort to ensure accurate tracking, we do not guarantee that all referrals will be tracked. Factors beyond our control, such as browser privacy settings, ad blockers, VPN usage, cookie restrictions, and third-party browser extensions, may interfere with tracking. We shall not be liable for any missed or untracked referrals caused by such factors.
3.5 Link Integrity
You must not alter, modify, cloak, redirect, or otherwise manipulate Affiliate Links in a way that obscures the referral source, bypasses cookie tracking, or interferes with accurate attribution. URL shorteners (such as bit.ly, TinyURL, or similar services) may be used provided they do not strip or modify tracking parameters. We reserve the right to void commissions generated through manipulated or improperly formatted links.
4. Commissions and Earnings
4.1 Commission Rates
Commission rates vary by product and program. The applicable commission rate for each product is displayed in your affiliate dashboard and on the relevant program page. We reserve the right to adjust commission rates at any time. If we reduce a commission rate, we will provide at least fourteen (14) days’ advance notice via email or within the affiliate dashboard.
| Product Type | Commission Structure | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Memberships | Percentage of initial sale and/or recurring payments | Recurring commissions apply only while the referred customer maintains an active subscription |
| eBooks & Digital Publications | Percentage of sale price per transaction | One-time commission per qualifying purchase |
| Software Products | Percentage of licence purchase price | May include renewal commissions for subscription-based licences |
| Bundles & Promotions | As specified per promotion | Special promotions may carry adjusted commission rates |
4.2 Qualifying Sales
A “Qualifying Sale” is a completed purchase made by a new customer who was referred through your valid Affiliate Link, where:
- The customer arrived at our website via your Affiliate Link and the tracking cookie was active at the time of purchase.
- The customer was not already an existing customer of Red Bag Productions for the specific product purchased.
- The transaction was not subsequently refunded, charged back, disputed, or cancelled.
- The purchase was made in accordance with our Terms of Service.
- The referral was not generated through prohibited methods as described in Section 6 of these Affiliate Terms.
4.3 Recurring Commissions
For products that offer recurring commissions (such as premium memberships and software subscriptions), you will continue to earn commissions on recurring payments made by your referred customer for as long as the customer maintains an active, paid subscription. Recurring commissions cease if the customer cancels, downgrades to a free tier, or if their payments lapse. Recurring commission rates and eligibility are specified in your affiliate dashboard.
4.4 Commission Exclusions
Commissions are not earned on:
- Purchases you make for yourself or for accounts you own or control (self-referrals).
- Purchases made by your immediate family members, employees, or business partners if the primary purpose is to generate affiliate commissions.
- Transactions that are subsequently refunded, reversed, or charged back.
- Free trials, free products, or products obtained through coupon codes not specifically issued to you.
- Purchases where the tracking cookie was not present or had expired.
- Sales generated through any prohibited promotional method outlined in Section 6.
- Transactions flagged as fraudulent by our systems or payment processors.
4.5 Commission Adjustments
We reserve the right to adjust, withhold, or reclaim commissions if we determine, in our reasonable judgement, that the commissions were earned through fraudulent activity, violations of these Affiliate Terms, technical errors, or other circumstances that would render the commissions invalid. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any adjustments and the reasons for them.
Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. You may not use your own Affiliate Links, directly or indirectly, to purchase products for your own use or for accounts you own or control. Violations of this policy will result in commission forfeiture and potential account termination.
5. Payments and Payouts
5.1 Payment Method
All affiliate commissions are paid via PayPal. You must maintain a valid, active PayPal account and ensure that the PayPal email address on file in your affiliate dashboard is correct and capable of receiving payments. We are not responsible for payments sent to an incorrect PayPal address provided by you.
5.2 Minimum Payout Threshold
Commissions are paid once your accrued balance reaches the minimum payout threshold of fifty pounds (£50.00), or the equivalent in your local currency. If your balance does not reach the minimum threshold in a given pay period, it will carry over to the following period.
5.3 Payment Schedule
Payments are processed on a monthly basis, typically within the first fifteen (15) days of the month following the month in which commissions were earned. All commissions are subject to a thirty (30) day holding period from the date of the qualifying transaction before they become eligible for payout. This holding period allows for refunds, chargebacks, and disputes to be resolved before commissions are finalised.
| Payout Detail | Terms |
|---|---|
| Payment Method | PayPal |
| Minimum Threshold | £50.00 (or local equivalent) |
| Pay Period | Monthly (1st–15th of following month) |
| Holding Period | 30 days from transaction date |
| Currency | GBP (converted by PayPal at prevailing rates) |
5.4 Taxes
You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes, duties, or levies arising from commissions you receive through the Program, including income tax, self-employment tax, VAT, or any other applicable taxes in your jurisdiction. Red Bag Productions does not withhold taxes on affiliate payouts unless required by law. We may request tax identification information or documentation (such as a W-8BEN or equivalent) before processing payments, as required by applicable regulations.
5.5 Disputed Payments
If you believe a commission payment is incorrect, you must notify us in writing within ten (10) days of the payment date. We will investigate the matter and make any necessary corrections. Claims submitted after ten (10) days may not be considered.
5.6 Inactive Accounts
If your affiliate account generates no qualifying sales and has no accrued commission balance for a period of twenty-four (24) consecutive months, we may classify your account as inactive. Inactive accounts may be closed and any remaining balance below the minimum payout threshold will be forfeited. We will notify you via email at least thirty (30) days before closing an inactive account.
6. Prohibited Promotional Activities
As an affiliate, you must promote Red Bag Productions products in an honest, ethical, and lawful manner. The following promotional methods and activities are strictly prohibited:
6.1 Paid Search and Trademark Bidding
- Bidding on or purchasing keywords that include “Red Bag Productions”, our product names, brand names, or any misspellings or variations thereof in paid search campaigns (including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and similar platforms) without prior written consent.
- Using our trademarks, brand names, or product names in ad copy, display URLs, or landing page URLs in paid search campaigns without authorisation.
- Running paid search ads that directly link to our website using your Affiliate Link as the destination URL.
6.2 Spam and Unsolicited Communications
- Sending unsolicited bulk emails (spam), text messages, direct messages, or other communications containing Affiliate Links to individuals who have not opted in to receive such communications from you.
- Posting Affiliate Links in comment sections, forums, chat rooms, or social media threads in a spammy, repetitive, or deceptive manner.
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to distribute Affiliate Links.
6.3 Deceptive and Misleading Practices
- Making false, misleading, exaggerated, or unsubstantiated claims about Red Bag Productions products, services, pricing, features, or capabilities.
- Creating fake reviews, testimonials, or endorsements for our products.
- Impersonating Red Bag Productions, our employees, or our official channels.
- Using deceptive pop-ups, overlays, exit-intent scripts, or forced clicks that trick visitors into clicking Affiliate Links without their informed consent.
- Representing yourself as an employee, agent, or official representative of Red Bag Productions.
6.4 Cookie Manipulation
- Cookie stuffing (placing affiliate tracking cookies on a visitor’s device without their knowledge, for example through hidden iframes, zero-pixel images, or forced redirects).
- Using browser extensions, toolbars, adware, or malware to inject or overwrite affiliate cookies.
- Employing any technique that artificially triggers affiliate tracking without a genuine referral click.
6.5 Incentivised Traffic
- Offering cashback, rebates, loyalty points, monetary rewards, or other incentives to visitors in exchange for clicking your Affiliate Link or making a purchase, unless expressly approved by Red Bag Productions in writing.
- Listing our products on coupon, deal, or voucher websites using unauthorised discount codes.
6.6 Objectionable Content
- Promoting our products on websites or platforms that contain content that is violent, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or illegal.
- Associating our brand with any content or individual that could harm the reputation of Red Bag Productions.
6.7 Self-Referrals and Fraud
- Using your own Affiliate Links to purchase products for yourself, your family, employees, or entities you own or control.
- Creating fake accounts, fictitious customer profiles, or fabricating transactions to earn commissions.
- Colluding with others to generate artificial or fraudulent referrals.
Violation of any prohibited activity will result in immediate investigation and may lead to commission reversal, account suspension, program termination, and forfeiture of all accrued and unpaid commissions. Red Bag Productions reserves the right to pursue legal action for serious or repeated violations.
7. Promotional Guidelines and Brand Usage

- Video content on platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo.
- Podcast mentions and recommendations.
- Paid social media advertising (excluding trademark bidding restrictions in Section 6.1).
7.2 Disclosure Requirements
You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your affiliate relationship with Red Bag Productions in all promotional content. This disclosure must be:
- Placed near the Affiliate Link or at the beginning of the content.
- Written in plain language that the average consumer can understand (for example: “This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you make a purchase at no extra cost to you.”).
- Compliant with all applicable advertising standards and regulations, including but not limited to the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) guidelines, US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides, and EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive.
7.3 Brand Assets and Marketing Materials
We may provide approved marketing materials, banners, logos, product images, and copy through the affiliate dashboard. You may use these materials solely for the purpose of promoting our products within the Program. You must not alter, modify, or misrepresent any brand assets without prior written consent. You may not create materials that imply an official partnership, endorsement, or sponsorship beyond your affiliate relationship.
7.4 Content Accuracy
All promotional content must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading. You must not make guarantees about product performance, earnings potential, or results unless such claims are expressly authorised by Red Bag Productions. If a product is updated, discontinued, or its pricing changes, you are responsible for updating your promotional content accordingly in a timely manner.
7.5 Negative Promotion
You may not disparage, defame, or make negative, false, or misleading statements about Red Bag Productions, our products, our employees, or our competitors as part of your promotional activities.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Limited Brand Licence
Upon acceptance into the Program, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Red Bag Productions trademarks, logos, product names, and approved marketing materials solely for the purpose of promoting our products within the Program and in accordance with these Affiliate Terms. This licence terminates immediately upon termination of your participation in the Program.
8.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Register, apply for, or claim ownership of any domain name, social media handle, or username that contains or is confusingly similar to Red Bag Productions trademarks, product names, or brand names.
- Use our brand assets in a manner that implies Red Bag Productions endorses, sponsors, or is affiliated with your website, business, or products beyond the affiliate relationship.
- Modify, distort, recolour, or alter any logos or brand assets provided to you.
- Use our intellectual property for any purpose other than promoting our products within the Program.
8.3 Your Content
You retain ownership of any original content you create to promote our products. However, by participating in the Program, you grant Red Bag Productions a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display excerpts of your promotional content (such as reviews or testimonials) for our own marketing purposes, with attribution where reasonably practicable.
9. Confidentiality
During your participation in the Program, you may have access to confidential or proprietary information, including but not limited to commission rates, conversion data, product roadmaps, marketing strategies, and unreleased product information (“Confidential Information”).
You agree to:

10. Data Protection
10.1 Your Personal Data

You will not have access to the personal data of customers you refer. We do not share customer names, email addresses, payment details, or other personal information with affiliates. Your affiliate dashboard will show aggregate referral and commission data only.
10.3 Your Obligations
If your promotional activities involve the collection or processing of personal data (for example, through your own email lists or website analytics), you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and any other relevant legislation in your jurisdiction. You must maintain an appropriate privacy policy on any website or platform through which you promote our products.
11. Relationship of the Parties
Your participation in the Program creates an independent contractor relationship between you and Red Bag Productions. Nothing in these Affiliate Terms shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency relationship, or franchise between you and Red Bag Productions.
As an independent contractor:

- You have no authority to bind, commit, or make representations on behalf of Red Bag Productions.
- You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Red Bag Productions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in the Program, including but not limited to lost commissions, lost profits, business interruption, or loss of data. Our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to these Affiliate Terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12.2 No Guarantee of Earnings
We make no guarantees regarding the amount of commissions you will earn through the Program. Earnings depend on numerous factors including the quality and reach of your promotional activities, market conditions, customer behaviour, and product availability. Any examples of potential earnings provided are for illustrative purposes only and do not constitute a promise or guarantee.

13.3 Termination by Us

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Affiliate Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
